Last update on July 24, 2014
Welcome to USDA’s National Farmers Market Directory!
The Directory lists over 8,100 markets that feature two or more farm vendors selling agricultural products directly to customers at a common, recurrent physical location. Maintained by the Agricultural Marketing Service, the Directory is designed to provide consumers with convenient access to information about farmers market listings to include: market locations, directions, operating times, product offerings, accepted forms of payment, and more.
If you are a consumer searching for a farmers market to visit:
Below you can search for markets by zip code, geographic proximity, product availability, payment method and even whether the market participates in Federal nutrition programs, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). You can also search by typing the official name and indicating state.
If you are a farmers market manager interested in listing or updating your Directory information:
You can search for your market by the official name or other categories indicated above. If you do not find your market listed here, please check your email account. Markets managers that have a valid email address listed in the directory were sent a separate email invitation and several reminders with a specific link to update their market listing. So, make sure to check your spam folder too!
If you did not receive an email invitation or this is your first time listing your market(s) in the Directory, go to and in less than 5 minutes you’re done. Be sure your market listing is added or updated no later than June 23rd, so your farmers market will be include in the National Farmers Market Week Reports! Even if you listed your market last year, you still need to go back in the Directory again to make sure all the information is correct. If the market is no longer in operation in 2014 or you no longer manage or represent the market, you can easily and quickly let us know about it by visiting
